Planning Conference

The conference took place at the Riverside Centre, Newport, Isle of Wight on Saturday the 26th November 2011. More than a hundred delegates delegates including the Isle of Wight MP Andrew Turner, Town and Parish Councillors, representatives of non-profit organisations and interested members of the public. The conference was organised jointly by the IWALC and CPRE.

Gill Kennett MBE, Chairman of the Isle of Wight Association of Local Councils, opened the conference. She was followed by presentations from local planning experts, the Isle of Wight Society, the Isle of Wight Council, the National Farmers Union and others. Some of their papers can be viewed below.
